Why This Training Matters

This isn’t just a workshop, it’s an activation.

We are organizing in Eastern NC to raise awareness around James Richardson’s wrongful conviction and to deepen our local base of justice advocates. Whether you live in the region or have community ties there, this training is your chance to sharpen your organizing skills, build local relationships, and take direct action for change.

We’ll cover:

  • Community organizing strategies
  • Storytelling for advocacy
  • Local base building
  • How to fight wrongful convictions
  • Centering the voices of directly impacted people

How You Can Help

  • Attend the training if you live in or have connections to Pitt, Martin, Washington, Beaufort, or Tyrell Counties
  • Spread the word to friends, organizations, and faith leaders in the area
  • Support travel and housing for others if you’re outside the region but want to help
  • Reach out with questions or interest, our team is here to connect

This Is More Than a Training, It’s a Movement

We’re showing up for James Richardson, and for every person who deserves a second chance. If you believe in justice, community, and the power of people to make change, we invite you to stand with us in Eastern North Carolina.
